I was a loyal user...

Ive been using Growl since 2008, and Ive been a loyal user telling all my friends about it. I was fine with it migrating to the app store, and Im a fan of supporting developers, so I felt the $1.99 price was perfectly reasonable. But $3.99 for an upgrade? Seriously?? Just… no. I will not be updating.

OS X notifications are catching up to Growls capabilities and with the lack of development for Growl, I expect it to be surpassed. Sorry Growl, but youve lost me with stupid pricing schemes. Because, seriously, who doubles the original cost just for an upgrade???
