Mountain Lion にApp Storeから購入した1.4をインストールして使ってるんだけど、 マシンを起動する度にアップデートがありますメッセージが出る。 実害はないけど、結構鬱陶しいから修正してほしい。

This app is complete useless, I downloaded it to solve my problem with notification pop-up that shows up on the top right corner, but it works with a few apps and it doesn’t solve the problem. Money wasted!

That doesnt work with Lion OS. Problem application.

It doesnt work at all! There is no any application listed under App tab in preferences, not even OSX native one. - Growl 1.3.3 from App Store - OSX 10.7.2 - Safari 5.1.2 - Style: default smoke. I know app is cheap but it could work!

I downgraded to Snow Leopard (Lion is a failure!) and surprise! I cant reinstall Growl - Lion is required! Whats missing in SL that Growl will not install????

Hmmm, its strange but it doesnt work with any apps. I dont get any notifications. From any apps :( I have a lot of apps and any of them dont work with Growl. I regret that I bought that app.

Version 2.0.1 works fine with latest Thunderbird for Mac (17.0.2) and OSX 10.8. It integrates with OSX Notification Center.

Notifications via Growl are simply great. It is an obvious improvement over standar Apple notification engine. Growl can be configured in many ways. I am using it for example in conjuction with UnPlugged (battery app) in a way that it notifies me on my iPhone and iPad when battery level is low. This is great as I am not always sitting in front of my computer and this way I never miss an alert, taking an iPhone with me.

I have 2 Mac at my home and growl doesnt autorun after reboot, even Ive checked "Start Growl at login" to ON . What Im doing wrong?

Stable freezing once at day with 100% CPU use. Now Growl is unusible.

Growl 1.x was perfect. Now, when notifier comes up, I click on it and nothing happens. WTF? For what Ive bought it? What is the sence of it if it is not reacting on clicks? Very bad :(

Why. Why the hell everyghing good disappears from every program i use when its upgrading to a new version? The only really useful thing in growl (notification itself is just a pleasant option to this main feature) was focusing the application after click on notification bubble. Now its gone. I can not explain for myself why, i dont know why there are no option for customizing this behavior. Please, maybe you can listen to hundreds of your customers and put this feature back, please please.

This version crashes EACH time I put my MBP in sleep mode. EACH time, which means at list once DAILY.

I wish I hadn’t bought this. It doesn’t work and the developer is hiding from being contacted. All their contact info goes to a google forum. I’m so angry!

I have several applications that will not work with Growl and have STILL not found a way to fix this. Their detective application is unable to upgrade and says permissions are not sufficient.

Corrupt installation that directs you back to their website to follow uninstall directions that do not work because you first need the program installed. The company also does not list any contact information under their “contact us” section. Total fail.

I am a graphics designer and NEED my computer to work. A 5K computer will not function because of a corrupt “Growl” file that came with the “NEW” OS - Sierra! I’m losing money here Apple - FiX IT! For $5k, this should not be an issue! Apple and it’s subsideriaries are no better than Windows!

I had growl years ago in order to be notified when a download was finished. Forgot all about it. Came back to it bc I still need the notifications, and $4 seemed worth it. Turns out it doesn’t work with Safari. Supposed to work with Firefox and Thunderbird. Ok, I’ve been meaning to make a switch for a while now. Seems like a good time. Make the switch. Mind you, by this time, I’ve been trying to get a very simple app to work, and IT IS NOT WORKING. Ok, switch made. JUST KIDDING - isn’t supported with the current Firefox or Thunderbird. So, I’m SOL? Upon further investigation, the seeming myriad of apps that Growl is supposed to work with are … obscure … to say the least. Basically, it’s useless. Because IT DOESN’T WORK WITH ANYTHING WE NEED AND USE EVERYDAY.

I downloaded Growl to notify me what songs were playing on spotify and no apps are showing up on growl. Not sure how to connect anything to it, everywhere I search says that it is an automatic connection but I cant figure it out.
